A one-of-a-kind terrarium inspired by symbiosis. 'Symbiosis' is a scientific term which refers to the close connection between different types of organisms which live side by side and benefit from each other, much like the relationship between fungi and plants.
A poetic inspiration has been incorporated inside with a handmade fungi sculpture depicting one large figure and a tiny companion on the left. Their presence inside is enhanced with the live plants which have been planted and grown over time to support and interconnect with the figure.
Creeping plant varieties have been included that now attach to the terracotta surface, including rabbits foot fern, oak leaf ficus, pink syngonium, fittonia, peperomia and mosses.
Much like a living miniature ecosystem, this piece will continue to grow and interconnect, and has been made to watch evolve over time.
Glass jar measures approximately 24cm high.

Cut-off time for next day delivery is 4pm. Same day delivery and pick up is not available sorry.
Due to their fragile nature, terrariums are only available for local delivery within the Adelaide metropolitan and surrounding suburbs.
