Tiny Kodama Forest

If you are a fan of Studio Ghibli, this creation has been made for you! Inspired by the Japanese anime film ‘Princess Mononoke’ this special piece houses 2 handmade tiny Kodama inhabiting a whimsical world of everlasting life.

The space is also inhabited by a tiny yellow (faux) moth hovering gracefully on the taller kodama’s head.

Kodama are spirits in Japanese folklore that inhabit trees, embodying the spirit and health of the trees in the forest. They are represented as cute, joyful beings as long as ancient forests are protected and respected.

This piece showcases the natural beauty of real preserved botanicals. Inside you will find a mix of both native Australian and exotic flowers as well as fascinating lichen fragments ethically collected from tree prunings on the Ladyfern family farm.

All floral components inside are entirely real and have been carefully grown, selected and preserved without the use of artificial dyes.

Artistically set inside a glass dome with a pastel pink ceramic base, this creation will keep as is with no maintenance required.

A small but detailed creation measuring approximately 13cm high.

Though some fading and light shedding may occur over time, to prolong the colours and protect the components, ensure the glass cover remains on and place away from direct sunlight.
