If you tread lightly in the forest on a cool, drizzly afternoon, when the afternoon light fades to dusk, you may just catch a glimmer of something from the corner of your eye.
 
Perhaps it was your imagination, or maybe… just maybe that’s where the forest folk lie.
 
 
Showcasing the mystery of the little folk synonymous around the world by many names - goblins, pixies, elves, gnomes, even aliens; no one truly knows what they are and why they are here, but one thing is for sure, they have been documented all over the world since ancient times.
 
Two specimens have been captured inside the ‘Forest Folk’ Art dome, set inside their natural habitat contained underneath the protection of a miniature glass dome.
 
This creation has been hand-crafted with home grown and preserved florals set amongst a wooden tree stump in which two small beings emerge. The little green men are hand sculpted and painted clay creations, each with their own bewildered and curious expressions.
 
Inside you will spot an assortment of interesting and colourful real botanicals including native daisies, ferns, lichens and a real mushroom.
 
Unlike living terrariums, this piece requires no maintenance, just ensure the glass dome remains on to protect the fragile components inside and to prevent escape!
 
Will keep for many years as is, but to best maintain the colours and condition, position away from direct sunlight and humidity.
