'Ms Mycelia' is a one-of-a-kind handmade creation inspired by rebirth, mycelium, and its interconnection to the world around us.
 
She has been intricately crafted from all real preserved plants and fungi. Inspired by the organic shapes found in nature, her body and arms reaching up have been formed from claw like wooden branches, naturally twisted and distorted over time.
 
She wears a heavy cloak made from dried grasses and leaves decorated with blooms of dried flowers and seedpods.
 
At the base, real fungi, lichen covered branches and blossoming flowers emerge from a rugged landscape where mycelium like threads connect. These fine threads, almost reminiscent of real mycelium, are made from white plant fibres that have been manipulated for this piece.
 
With a fantasy like inspiration, her face, has been hand sculpted from clay and hand painted. Full of emotion and character, she displays the face of someone who has truly experienced life.
