Under the protection of a large glass dome contains an intricately detailed 3D art terrarium, made entirely from all real preserved elements.
 
All but a few of the florals were home grown, collected and preserved by Ladyfern to create a unique art terrarium, celebrating the beauty of nature without the use of artificial dyes or floral foam.
 
‘Mortal Beauty’ was based around the intriguing and alien like form of the carnivorous pitchers and their strangely beautiful flowers which emerge from within a hollow wood piece, reminiscent of a large ancient gum. 
 
A diverse mix of interesting florals and seedpods were incorporated with the use of both exotic and native plants including colourful everlasting daisies, wattles, skeleton leaves, succulent flowers, seedpods, ferns, lichens and more. 
 
The dome is a handmade vintage glass from Italy and measures approximately 36cm high. 
 
Requires no maintenance. Position away from direct sunlight to help prevent fading of the colours over time and ensure you keep the dome on to protect the delicate contents inside.
