Polytrichum also known as haircap moss, is a rarer form of moss with a dense, clumping habit. It has a spiky upright texture, almost reminiscent of tiny pine trees. Upright, spikey strands gradiate in colour from deep maroon to forest green, creating a fascinating tiny display.
 
These beautiful specimens have been carefully brushed, and may contain traces of soil attached to help establish well into its new setting.
 
Our mini tubs are ideal for small scale, single projects. Great if you are new to moss and don't want to commit to a large pack, this affordable size is a perfect option.
 
Each pack has been harvested fresh by hand, and carefully packed to ensure a good quality of moss is in each pack.

All our moss is sustainably harvested fresh from our farm in SA. We do not harvest or forage from public lands. All our moss is grown, monitored and regenerated on site and never over harvested to meet demand.
