A kaleidoscope of colour, ‘Merlin’s Magic Garden’ is a hypnotic blend of all real preserved plants, artistically compiled to create a one-of-a-kind fantasy inspired miniature world.
 
This intricately detailed creation is made up of both native and exotic selections including carnivorous sarracenia, banksia pods, lichen covered woods, vines, thistles and daisies in a rainbow of colours. 
 
Also incorporated is a dried banana flower stem, selected for its unique texture, almost reminiscent of mushrooms growing along a tree trunk.
 
Standing at the top of a banksia pod is a beautiful vintage wizard casting a spell upon his garden with a wand in one hand a crystal ball in the other. 
 
Inspired by Walt Disney’s masterpiece ‘Fantasia’ the magic of nature is celebrated in this creation. 

A one-of-a-kind art, grown, collected and preserved by Ladyfern. All inclusions are ethically sourced and arranged to admire for years to come.
 
To best preserve the colours and condition, ensure the glass cover dome remains on, handle carefully and place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Unlike living terrariums, these pieces require no maintenance.

The wizard is made from pewter and his crystal ball is faceted crystal which illuminates and refracts rainbow tones when placed under certain lighting. (see photos)
