It’s true what they say, the older you get the quicker time slips away. The ‘Gift of Time’ was created as a reminder to slow down and appreciate life, as much like the art of bonsai, some things in life only get better with time.
 
Set inside a recycled glass vase is a pretty scene with mineral boulders forming a stepped mossy landscape under the shady canopy of a syngonium ‘white butterfly’. A miniature elkhorn has been attached to an old fallen tree trunk, providing a tranquil setting for a miniature bonsai artisan to practice his craft.
 
The bonsai man is a vintage collectable handcrafted from clay – a beautifully detailed little figurine traditionally used in the art of bonsai.
 
Inside has also been planted with fittonia ‘skeleton’, baby tears, and gota kola which is actually a medicinal (edible) herb said to have numerous health benefits linked to arthritis and memory.
