'Mystical Spires' Terrarium

A gothic cathedral sits on top of a misty wilderness, overlooking a beautiful and wild landscape below.

Artistically set inside a large and stunning vintage jar, it is a handblown glass piece with an ocean blue/teal twisted stem base.

Inside was built around an amazing natural wood formation, weathered over time to take on a holey, almost windswept texture. The wood supports plantings of colourful pink fittonia, offset with soft whimsical textures of a nephrolepsis 'cotton candy', and beautiful silver shimmers of begonia rex 'glacier' and jewel orchids - aspidogyne argentea. Selaginella and a beautiful array of native mosses were also included amongst quartz boulders almost reminiscent of ancient glaciers.

Tahitian bridal vial has recently been added (see just under the chapel amongst the moss). In time this should creep throughout. This pretty creeper displays tiny white blooms reminicent of a bride's veil - hence the name.

This piece has flourished with minimal care requirements, and rarely requires watering.

A care guide is included with purchase.

Measures approximately 52cm high.

*This jar is a genuine vintage piece, and has some slight watermarks on the surface - though does not impact on the overall appeal in our opinion.
